Ti-frame and Ti-headset: fusion issues?
Probably not, but I've read about titanium surfaces of one component wanting to fuse with titanium surfaces of another component. I could see this happening over time for components that are not designed to move or pivot on a bike.
On the Serotta forum, I saw two comments that I'd like to ask about:
1: One person commented that he would not want a titanium headset on a titanium bike frame, because of the issue of titanium wanting to fuse onto titanium. Is this an issue as far as mounting a titanium headset onto a titanium frame?
2: Another person commented about availability of Chris King titanium headsets that can be ordered without any logos being lasered on the headsets. Are there vendors that offer Chris King titanium-headsets that have no (or minimal) logos lased onto them?

1. Use a good anti-sieze and the problem should never occur.
2. Contact Chris King. They should know who they make these for. BTW, why do you want a CK headset without their logo? Anyone who spends that much money on a headset, particularly the Ti version, should want to announce it to all the world.
