Shifter

Hi hope you guys are doing great.... question ? I have a 7 speed freewheel 13 - 23 .. crank set is a double.. have a suntour V-GT luxe rear derailleur , suntour VGt front
if i can use these together what shifter should i use... ?

any and all help is so welcome...!!!

hi sorry should have added that the frame seems to have used a down tube shifter before but there are no lugs on it ... or top tube.... i'd love to have either a down tube or stem shifter just what would be best to use with that setup...

thanks a ton sorry just getting into bike repair and build

Bikes: Seriously downsizing.

Most likely the DRs will work.
You need band-mount DT shifters or stem shifters, whatever you prefer.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Any clamp-on downtube shifter in friction mode will work fine.
