Single speed conversion issue.

hi,
i am trying to use my mavic Ksyrium sl wheels in my Steel single speed cross bike (Track Drops). the only problem is my frame spacing is 135. i was wondering if the crossmax axles (135 Spacing) would work in my ksyrium wheels? Also, i would like to get bolt on quick release skewers. do they make these tough enough so my wheel will not slip in the drops?
thanks in advance

Get a longer skewer and tighten the b*tch down. I run a regular 130 spaced wheel on my 135 spaced Salsa cross bike and haven't had problem number one in 2-1/2 years. You're overthinking it. It's 2.5mm per side. The frame will be just fine.
