Broken brake

So I turned the adjusting screw on my Oryx cantilevers too far inwards and something broke. Now the spring does not work. Anyway to fix this?

Well, taking it apart to check things and see what if anything broke would be the first step. It sounds like you either broke off the little dogleg on the spring or a tab that the spring sits against broke. Or perhaps you just went past where it normally runs and the dogleg on the spring jumped over whatever tab it runs on.

You can take off both sides and compare the good one to the bad one to see what happened.
