Chain jumping on rear wheel
I did a couple of searches and didn't come with with any answers here, so here is anew thread. I have a brand new Trek 2.1. Sometimes when I stand the chain jumps on the rear wheel. Any idea what is causing this?

if its brand new could be your drivetrain has gone out of adjustment - the cables have "stretched" and settled in so they need to re-adjust your shifters and drivetrain. most bike shops have a free tune up with purchase of a new bike so take back in for a once over.
