Spoke Length Help
Hello. I am trying to build a wheel for a TT frame i have. The rim was an odd one and i had to find it specially. Luckly velocity makes a 520mm rim. Using a leVel front hub, how do i know the length of spokes to use. the calculators are confusing honestly. id appreciate any info on this stuff.

There's a couple of Excel calculators on here which are pretty good.

It doesn't look as though your rim is on the list, so you've gotta find out, or measure the ERD (effective rim diameter), or get someone clever to measure it.
Then you've gotta measure the hub dimensions.
There a tips for both on here: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/rinard/s...asureHubAndRim
The ERD is the most crucial measurement. Hub width (centre to flange) is sightly less important to get spot on, because it doesn't effect the length as much

24” (520)
Bead seat diameter 520
Weight 374g
ERD = 498
