stripped stem nut

I was just trying to raise my stem a little bit, and when I tried to loosen the bolt the bolt stripped. It's a 1" quill stem, and now the hex bolt, is round, is there anything I can do to get the bolt out?

Since it's a hex bolt that's rounded, how about locking a ViseGrip to it? You can even tap the pliers with a hammer if need be.

Search " stripped bolt " and you'll get lots of suggestions. The easiest possible solution is to first try a brand new, unused wrench.

This only works if the bolt head sticks out of the stem. Which is never the case, unless it's a very OLD bike, in which case it wouldn't be using a hex bolt.
