Band on barrel adjusters

Hi,
Im after a left hand side, band-on barrel adjuster for my bike that Im building. Does anyone know where I can get this (or a similar alternative - like a band-on barrel adjuster boss)?
I hope someone can help as Im having a nightmare trying to find one!!!
Thanks

I've never seen any band-on cable adjusters and the bosses on band-on downtube shifters tend to be non-standard. You can find band-on cable housing stops (w/o adjusters) and then use an in-line cable adjuster to set the cable tension.

Maybe I am not understanding the question, but it seems you could get a Shimano clamp on shifter mount and then add these to that.

Yeah thanks. I think from what I have now fount on the net that a friction shifter boss (with all the parts removed) will be sufficient. Thanks for your help anyway.
