Race Face Atlas X type, how to disasemble?

Does anyone know if it takes special tools to pull the crank arm off of a race face x type? If so where or who has one? tks redneck biker

Just use a long 8mm (I think) allen wrench on the spindle bolts. This crank has self extracting bolts, so you don't need a puller. When you put them back on, torque the bolts to 380 in/lbs, which is 30ft/lbs or 43N/m.
Also- when you take them off, make sure no dirt or grit gets on the splines of the bottom bracket, or on the crank arm. If some dirt is on there, clean it off very well, then put some grease before reinstalling. If your spindle isn't clean, it may creak while you are riding it.
