Help!!

I have a Giant TCR2 road bike. There is a noise that sounds like it is coming from the handle/steerer. I already had my crank changed, so it cannot be that. Does anybody have such a problem and have resolved it? Please let me know what else I need to check and how you fixed it.

Moving this to Bicycle Mechanics (from Regional Forums).

To OP: I suspect more info is needed. Is the noise apparent all the time when the bike is moving? Is it related to how you pedal (on saddle or standing up) or something else?

Bikes: At least 35 bikes and most are antiques

Is it a clunk when you ride over bumps.
Sometimes the steerer tube is cut to long and the headset never gets tight enough.
