Post your Workshops

This is going to be an interesting thread and probably one-of-a-kind.
My little space for my hobby is in the corner of our home garage, where I can work on my bikes and generally knacker and learn from mistakes etc. I know a lot of you will have your own businesses where you have rooms and whole stores including warehouses and even whole estates if you can imagine.

So here is my little play area:

If you get to use the garage, I get to use the basement

I squatted in a basement corner of our very old house when we moved in.

Using the back end of a Corvette as a workbench, that's a novel idea.

Nope. Been done quite a few times, before. When that happens, I theorize that some people don't repeat their posts/pics. If you're interested, search the forum a little. You'll find some great shots of some great shops!

It's not so much a 'workshop' as bicycle 1/2 of the 'bike bay'

The bicycle workbench, tool box and spare parts kit...

This is a dedicated building that is my do-it-all workshop. I put it up in stages, hence the weird roof lines, for about $8000, doing all the labor (free). It is off-the-grid, with solar power and wood heat, and about 750 sq ft. I built it like a house with full insulation, dual pane windows, wood floors (for the knees), and lots of natural light.

It looks like a lot more than just bike wrenching happens here, but lately the demand for expensive custom wooden boats have dried up a bit..

Amazingly, its the perfect height. Fortunately, the weather's been crappy: I get to finish wrenching on the bikes and don't have to put away all the tools and parts!

OK, but answer me this... Why are the images reversed, i.e., flipped 180° such that Lemond & Corvette are now dnomeL, ettevroC?

Very observant. Obviously, you're a real detail person. Work for the FBI? Give it some consideration!

Actually, I have no idea as to why the images are reversed! Unless the Rite Aid Drug store, when making the CD from my film camera negatives did something wrong.

Sort of... but it was a long, long time ago. Just wasn't a good fit and I moved on to something else.
