Front tire keeps getting flat

The front tire of my bike continues to gradually deflate overnight which is bothering me especially since I just bought a new tube. I'm not sure if maybe i installed the new tube incorrectly but every morning i wake up the tire is flat once more. What could be the cause of this?

A small leak. Have you checked the tire for a small, sharp object? Take off the tire and run your fingertips around it inside and out. See if you can find something sharp like a shard of glass or a small metal object.

The answer is you didn't find and remove the object that put the hole in the first tube you flattened. When you take it apart carefully insect the tire for the problem that is punching holes in the tube. Probably a piece of glass, goat head or some such stuck in the tire. Roger
