Campy Chorus or Record Compact 50/36??
Hello All:
I am looking to build a bike up with either Chorus or Record. I want a compact crank with 50/36 chainrings. I know the 10-speed campy Chorus had a 50/36 crankset but it does not appear that this is offered with the 2009 11 speed gruppo. Does anybody have an idea whether the new 11 speed gruppos can still run the 36t lower chainring?
LBS of no help whatsoever.
Thanks,
Jason

it will depend on whether the 11-speed chain has the same inner width as 10, 9, 8, 7, etc. chains (and subsequently whether an 11-speed chain will fit over a standard-width tooth on a typical chainring).
I'm not sure of the answer, but if you can find this out, you can answer your more specific question.
