Changing cantilevers?

I'd like to swap the cantilever levers (the brake levers, not the hand levers) on two of my bikes. Is this a big deal, or is it just unbolting them, swapping them, and adjusting the brakes?

Anybody?

For clarification, I'm talking about these:

The cantilevers on my bike look like the one in that picture: fairly vertical. I have a set on another bike that are much more splayed out, like this:

I'd like to swap these around. Is this just a simple swap, or are there any pitfalls I may run into? Obviously I'll have to adjust the cables and pads, but is there anything else?

Only issue may be cable length on one of the bikes but that's it.

CACycling: that's what I figured. I have a spare set of cables laying around if I need them.

I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row before I get started.
