flats
ok i rode on the same old tire for maybe a month with no problem than i finally caught a flat so i just change both tires and tubes and now i have gotten 5 flats in 2 weeks and this is on the same route to work that i have been taking since i have had the old tire. this just doesn't make sense to me

Check the inside of your tire for something sharp that may still be in there. Other than this, look into getting a new tire that has such as a Kevlar-belt - or Vectran. These tires really do help to prevent sharp objects from getting through to puncture your tube(s). I'd recommend a tire, but you didn't tell us what you are riding on.
Do check your tires after you ride through areas that have such things as broken bottles and nails.

Before you change anything you need to know exactly what caused the flats.
Which side of the innertube was punctured? Tread side or rim side?
Do your rims have Velox rim tape?
Do you ride in an area with goatheads or grass burrs?
