Vittora Wire beads

HI,
My LBS convinced me to try some new Vittora Road tires with steel wire beads ,they roll real nice almost like butter , but let me say they are the most wicked, dang awful, pieces of dodo to remove from my vintage steel rims.
I broke three tire tools and cursed up a blue storm after replacing the tube but it was ruined during the installation...
Any tips would be greatly appreciated....
I don't wish to toss two perfectly new tires but I can't seem to get them off the rims and replaced without wrecking a couple new tubes..
Doug
