Where to find cable adjusters?

I just bought a frame and I noticed that it was missing the shifter cable tensioners. This is a small part that, but an important one, and I can't find them on the web. The frame is an alum 99 Allez with threaded cable braze-ons under the down tube which are supposed to have a plastic ended screw adjuster. I've looked at all the small parts sites and haven't seen anything like them except for some Ritcheys that are not threaded and go on the brifter. Any ideas?

Do you mean these? If you're missing just the threaded piece you will likely have to buy the complete unit. They're not that expensive.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Does the frame have down tube shifter bosses so you need the Shimano-style adapters shown in norwood's posting? If so any LBS will have a box full of leftovers and you should get them cheap.

If the frame had dedicated braze-on lugs that are threaded to take just the barrel adjusters, the adjusting barrels from the Shimano adapters will work or barrel adjusters from many brake sets will also work as they have the same M5 threading. Again, most LBS's will have a bunch of these as surplus.
