Is it possible to rebuild a Rolf Prima Vigor wheel with a Powertap?
I am curious if it would be possible to rebuild a Rolf Prima Vigor rear wheel with a Powertap? The rear wheel has a fairly unique hub and spoke configuration. What would the end result look like? Would the spoke pattern end up the same or totally different? Thanks!!!

OH is a powertap that huge carbon and alloy hub thingie I saw on a bike at work the other day? if it is available with the correct number of spoke holes and you can find the spokes maybe it could be done. if you are paying close to $700 for a hub I would just spend the extra a get a wheel, especially if there is a warranty

Since the Powertap is a complete hub, you are probably stuck using the spoking patern it requires. As BG noted, it would be much more reasonable to get a complete wheel that has the Powertap included.

No, there are no Powertap hubs drilled for Rolf spoking patterns, or even with the same flange shaping as the Rolf. So you're SOL.

But with that said it shouldn't be too hard to rebuild a Rolf Prima around a powertap. How good it'll turn out is another question...
Didn't find any info on which drillings the PT is available in. If it comes in 16H the build is very straight forward and might not even void the warranty. If it comes in 32H the build is equally simple, but then the question arises whether the flanges will be up to the increased spoke tension that'll come from using only every 2nd hole.
24H to 16H is probably also doable, but I haven't worked out the lacing sequence just yet.
What the final pattern will look like will depend on how much you tinker with with the lace. Not using every 2nd in a 32H but instead use 2, leave 2 should result in a final build fairly close to the original.
