Force 2010 Left shifter
Hey all,
I was wondering if I could possibly get some advice. I recently built up a bike using Force shifters and have found that the shift lever will go over far enough to pop out from behind the brake lever when I'm shifting to the big ring.
Do I just not have enough tension on the front derailleur cable or is it odd that the shift lever can even do that? I checked my 09 Rival shifters and they seem to be limited enough to not be able to do that. Any advice or suggestions?

I just had sram force 2010 built up on my frame with about 120 miles on it. Have no problem shifting from small to larger ring. Remember though, they shortened the throw angle on 2010 among other little tid-bits.
Hell, I'm still getting used to not moving the brake lever with the paddle...coming from all Dura-Ace/Ultegra systems.
Could just be an adj. scenario......good luck, it is nicer than ultegra but little noise'r, quality is definetly there.
Pedal Force RS2 frame w/ full SRAM Force 2010, Thomson SP, Dura-Ace/Mavic OP ceramic wheels.

Yah, I like the noise over the Ultegra stuff actually. Feels good. The throw is part of my concern because I have to throw the shifter way, way over and it just doesn't seem right compared to the Rival one which seems to have a shorter throw.
