2006 Specialized allez: question about my cranks

I just recently purchased the allez elite triple from a private party. Third time taking it out today and the bolt the keeps the crank arms on keeps backing out. The cranks are FSA cranks, not sure if those are what came with the bike. my question is this my lady friend just bought me a 105 crankset. the 105 is a double the fsa's are a triple crank set. can i just instal the new cranks without changing out the whole drive train? this is my first road bike so can someone clue me in TIA?

Your shifter will still be for a triple, not a big deal but not ideal; you'd need to change the limit screw settings on your front derailleur. Whether or not you could easily swap them out otherwise depends on which specific models of crank you're speaking of and the tools you've got...

If you're big enough to ride a 62mm then 175's should be fine.

The crankarm length might be stamped on the back of your crankarm, if it's a suitable length for you; guessing from your bike size a 175 wouldn't be unreasonable in any case. That Cambria deal looks good...
