british bianchi?

This is probably the wrong forum but I wasn't sure where to post it. I've bought a bike, modern, lightweight aluminium. There is no welding to be seen, all joints are smooth. Allegedly (!) it was originally unpainted alu. Built by a firm in Sheffield, UK that had been bought by Bianchi.
Any ideas anyone?
Bianchi girl, where are you when needed?

I would try posting this in the vintage forum.

I thought of the vintage section, but it is a fairly modern bike. Still, you're probably right so I'll give it a go. Cheers
