Missing Lockring on Heliomatic

I was retuning my puegot today when i noticed that the lockring for the cassette was missing. Does anyone know where i can find one or have other ways to fix? I dont want to have to buy new wheels as i am making a commuter bike out of this bike and dont want to spend alot.
Thanks

Call around to the older local bike shops (LBSs) in your area and see if they have some. If you come up empty-handed, send me a Private Message with your mailing address and I can probably sell you one for $3 PayPal including shipping, if you're in the US.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

Try Yellow Jersey. They stock lots of that kind of stuff and still list them on their site. Here's a link to the page

I serviced a bike with a Heliomatic once that was missing the lockring. When I alerted the owner that the ring was missing, he said, yeah I know. It's been missing for years.
Just keep pedalling forward and it will stay in place.
