Stripped Cane Creek SCX-5 brake pad nut

I was adjusting my SCX-5 brakes today to stop them from squealing and when tightening down one of the 5mm brake pad nuts I stripped it. I can probably get it off, but I doubt I can get it back on again so I need to get a replacement nut.

I cant seem to find replacement nuts anywhere. Are there any good sources for hardware like this? Is there a reason to not replace it with a regular nut (other than it looking odd)?

The nut in question is #1 in Fig. A: https://www.canecreek.com/manuals/Bra...structions.pdf

On a somewhat related note, where can I find a good torque wrench for all of these Allen bolts?

Thanks
Justin

If you have a bike shop close, go ask them for one. I throw away dozens of those a week. Every time I change out the pads on a set of v-brakes. At the worst, buy a new set of pads. You'll get new nuts with those.
