External BB Question

My wife's bike has a Shimano 105 Triple with external BB cups. Can I put replace them with an Ultegra set of cups, or do I have to track down 105 level offerings?

https://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...1_10000_200423

They appear to be the same width.

Thanks.

Not sure if these ar equivalent but 105 cups are seen as being good value. In fact it's recommended that you should use these to replace certain FSA ones as I have done.

The 105 exterior BB is a good BB. As long as it is installed properly nobody will see any difference between the 105 & Ultegra BB's.

That's what you need to know so, yes, the Ultegra bb cups will work properly with your 105 crank.
