Chain lube

Oh yeah another chain lube thread. I just wanted to state that I use pure Mobil 1 oil on my chain. I have 3800 miles on it and the Park chain wear tool wont drop in the .75 side yet. It is a 9 speed chain. Since Mobil 1 almost eliminates wear in engines, it follows that it should do the same with a chain.

I lube about every 100 miles, and try to keep the chain as clean as possible by wiping it often. Also I remove the chain and clean it with kerosene and a brass brush once a season.
I might add since it is a bent with a really long chain the better I can keep it from wearing the less I have to spend on expensive chains.
