Forking
Howdy, builders et al.
Thinking of building a trek 520 54/57 or a 54/56.
Can anyone thing of any reason to not use a surly LHT fork with any of these frames?
I've looked over the respective geometries & didn't see 'nuff difference to worry 'bout, but a second set of eyes or a good flame on how dumb I am for thinking this would be appreciated.

I can think of one reason ..... it says "Surly"
Is this a new or old Trek? Where's the original fork? I'm assuming you know the differences of headsets and all ?

Yep was looking at some of the newer ones with the 1.125 headset on 'em. mostly a question of trail etc. the fork spec was within a mm of so of the Waterford adventure fork, and about 300 bucks less as I recall. Not sure what the Trek Spec is thus the question. I've also considered the Soma Saga with it's own fork, but those seem pretty scarce on the ground right now.
