compression nut and fork inner diameter differences

Went to install a new fork with my old compression nut. Doesnt fit. The old compression nut is too big OD and wont fit the new fork ID. The new fork has an ID of 22.3mm measured with my calipers.

Does anyone know what compression nut will work with 22.3mm ID? Many sites dont actually state compatible fork IDs for the nut. Maybe it doesnt matter for most of them?

Didnt even think about potential fit issues...
