Avid Juicy Seven Problems - Rear Inner Pad falls out while riding
Hello Group,
I keep losing my inner pad of my rear Juicy 7s while riding. I will lose pressure in the brake, the pad will fall out and the H spring will be destroyed. Yet, pressure will return to the brake later. The inner piston tends to stay pretty far out into the caliper also, but I cannot tell if this is just because the pad has disappeared. The piston in still moveable and able to be pushed back in. This first happend on a long descent, but this last time, it happened for no good reason I can think of. This has happened on my last two rides now, with no indication until it is too late.
What should I do? Does the brake need to be rebuilt? Is anyone familiar with this problem?
Thank you,
Miggity
