Re-use of cassette lock ring

Hello
I have an Ultegra 10 speed cassette on an Ultegra 6600 hub. How many times can the lockring be removed and replaced before it needs to be renewed? It is torqued properly.
thank you

I have never needed to replace one from wear. Shimano gives you a new one with each cassette, but I have seen people split the alloy freehub body or strip it from over tightening.
