Tapered road fork question

Picked up a NOS 2009 GT carbon team frame and was told when I bought it that it took an 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" tapered fork. But after using a micrometer I have found the ID at the top to be 42mm and the bottom 47mm which I believe is the ID's for a 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" tapered fork. I think this is the Campy standard? Looks like the only headsets out there that fit it are the FSA Orbit CF-33 and Orbit C-33 . Anyone out there have experience with these

It's not campy standard. Campy has made no headsets for tapered systems like 1.5 -> 1.125. If you call GT warranty/support they will confirm that it is indeed the correct headset. It certainly looks like it would be the correct candidate.
