Inept in need of adept headset sizing help

Over the past 2 years, I've become fairly savvy with basic repairs and cobbling of spare parts. Headsets, however, are still uncharted territory for me. I'd like to replace the headset on my 1991 Schwinn Crosscut, but I can't determine what size I need.

ISO, JIS, crown race, steerer diameter, threads per inch... Surely this is simpler than I'm making it. The only things I know for sure are: it's threaded, steerer tube is 7/8" right above the headset locknut, and it's called Tange SE-II. (Found this on a specs page for my bike)

Threaded headsets on eBay list only one, maybe two dimensions. Even the brilliantly demystifying writing of Sheldon - may he rest in peace - couldn't get headset basics through my thick head...set. The saddest part of this conundrum is I have a perfectly operational digital caliper. How lame am I? Clearly, I need practice with measuring. I also need practice converting between mm and inches, but one day at a time.

So, here's a picture of my headset. I'd be happy to take an up-close one if anybody wants it.

This is what I'd like to get, if you can confirm for me that it will fit. Literally all it says it 1" Threaded Headset:

Basically, I'm curious to learn what will fit, how it's compatible, and what measurements could have told me this without disassembling my fork or ranting to you nice people. BTW, I do not have headset wrenches, and I plan to pay my LBS to install and adjust my new headset for me. ($15 seemed very reasonable compared to some of their other rates.) Thanks for your input and advice, and have a great day.

Pretty much a standard 1" headset. The only thing you need to check is the dia. of the steering tube where the crown race sets. It is a press fit.
Get this one. It will last years. https://www.bicyclebuys.com/bikeparts...s/1604395/goog
