Paint stripping
I hear that chemical is the best, and I was wondering this:
Whats the verdict on biodegradable paint strippers? (see here or here...both at amazon).
Has anyone used them? Do they work well on bikes? Once it is all said an done how do you dispose of them (does the paint that is now mixed in nullify the cleanliness of it?)
If I end up doing it I am thinking about repainting a bianchi strada I picked up last week later this summer (keeping the blue color but changing the headtube and seatube to white or off-white, with the contrast of the tubes to the blue lugs.) I haven't painted a bike before (using an air compressor high pressure gun, cause that's what I have), but I'll be practicing on a Varsity that is in very poor condition that I have been using as a bike to practice repairs on)

I haven't used biodegradable paint stripper, but if you have a compressor you can blast for cheap with baking soda and it's environmentally friendly.
