Bikes: Gary Fisher Big Sur, Cannondale H300 which I am converting into a touring bike, and an old Pacific mountain bike which I use in crud weather.

I have worked extensively with the "Consumer" repair stand from Park. I like the clamp fine but the base is of a somewhat unstable design. I would look for something that has a 3 point base or longer legs on a 2 point base for increased stability. That gives you 3 or 4 stands from Park to consider. I would recommend any of them.
