You may want to review the other Forum categories, since camera questions really have nothing to do with Bicycle Mechanics. just a tip ;)

My friend just got a go pro. It's OK. Not worth the money if you ask me. You have no idea what you film because it doesn't have a screen!
Just get something like thishttp://www.amazon.com/Kodak-PlayTouc...969489&sr=1-43 Then make a mount for it and try to find a case for it online. |

What do you want to record with it? You want to do helmet cam videos while you ride?
It's a neat camera but certainly has its drawbacks. The one that stands out for me is, because it's a wide angle lens, it's really only good for recording objects that are close to you, rather than distant scenery. (Shameless link drop, I wrote a GoPro review on my website.) |

if you have a point and shoot digital camera with video function, just find a way to hook it up to your helmet or handlebar and you are set.
then up0grade from there. |

Since this is the mechanics forum, here's how to make one yourself: http://www.instructables.com/id/Bicycle-Camera-Mount-for-under-$1/
I haven't tried that mount but maybe it would work... |

ok thanks. and is the black one only $ 99.00 ?
It looks awesome and it's dustproof shockproof and waterproof. It's also a really good camera. |
I personally love my GoPro HD...
