prepping replacement 27in wheel for larger fellow
picked up a new rear wheel for my brothers new old bike. he's biggish, 230, but I didnt want to break the bank with a handbuilt wheel bc I'm not sure how much he will end up riding and it's an old bike that cost me under $100.
the rim is a weinmann rm19, spokes 14g ss, and hubs look to be formula, 36h. I already when through the process of "tension releasing" the spokes and re-truing it. is there any thing else i can do before he rides it to make sure he has as little issues as possible?
thanks

basically you gotta do the finish work on the wheel. approach it like a hand built wheel. just pretend they laced it and lightly tensioned it because that is what happens to most machine built wheels. set the spoke bends, true, balance tension, stress relieve. etc
