F der. problem

I have a cyclocross bike <kinessis> it has a top pull set up with a bottom pull der. it was built for me by NYC bikes with a road triple. It has issues shifting into granny gear. my mechanic is currently fighting the situaiton. He believes that the problem exists in the der. I was wondering what the best way to solve this issue is? XT front der?

Biggest likely problem is the XT FD and a road road triple. Current xt FD is speced for much smaller rings and shimano mtb afre often found to be incompatible with STI shifters ,especially with triples. Bike shop should have known better. Use a Shimano road FD.

i think part of the problem is a shimano road FD is a bottom pull set up and the bike is geared for a top pull FD

There are pull reversers.Biggest problem is that xt FD. Second biggest problem is finding someone that can set up a triple right.
