Campy Cables

The derailluer cables in the Campy cable kit instructs you to put the crimped end into the shifters but there's no way that's happening because the cable housing barely fits. Also the housings of the derailleur casings and the brake casings are different diameters yet the loose crimped ends are the same size. They don't fit on the brake casings at all.According to the instructions all the casings are supposed to be the same diameter except the short one for the rear derailluer. It doesn't seem that the cable kit is made for the new Record shifters. Don't know why they give you crimped ends that don't fit over the cable.

Did you buy the correct cable set? Campy newer 10 speed/11 speed cable set is different than older 10 speed cable set.

For Ultra-Shift Ergopower Control Levers. That's what I have. Doesn't say anything about 10 or 11 Speed.

Sounds like you may have the wrong set. The ends should not be crimped. There's also a lubricant reservoir in the cable housing end that goes into the brifter, so it's important the cable housing is installed correctly.
