How to geta nut stuck in crankset out.

Alright, first post! Woot lol. Ok, im a fairly new biker, so I figured I would put together a bike from close to scratch. I bought an old frame and when I was going to replace the crankset, boom. Problem hit really hard. I got the hexbolt off, but the nut didn't come off with it. On both sides too.

Here's a pic of said problem.

You just need a crank extractor for a square tapered crank. What you see is fairly normal. You would need the tool regardless of whether your crank was nutted or bolted.

I bought one lol, but I honestly don't see a way this thing is going on there o.O

This is the tool I have, the Park Tool CCP-22 for square-taper bottom brackets

EDIT:

Nevermind thank you rofl. I didn't know the head comes off rofl. Thanks very much.

From: dusk 'til dawn.

Bikes: everywhere

Unscrew the larger threaded part.

Screw it into the crank all the way.

Screw the handle part in to the larger threaded part until the crank pulls off of the BB spindle. This will take a fair amount of force.

I agree the OP has a lowerend "Nutted" spindle but that Park CCP-22 should take them off
