corima 4 spoke noise

A recently purchased corima 4 spoke carbon wheel makes a strange whirring noise as soon as the speed goes above 10mph, I have replaced the bearings, and the wheel is in good condition, the hub is solidly bonded and I have tried the wheel in another bike, and the noise persists. anyone had a similar problem?

Are you sure you're not hearing airflow noise?

Have you checked with the dealer? They likely have far more experience with that bicycle or wheels than most anyone here, and can check it in person.

Carbon monocoque kit has a rep for being noisy as hell.

Kinda like the difference between an electric and an accoustic guitar.

Thank you for your reply, although I didn't quite understand what you meant, was it supposed to be helpful in some way to my query?.

Mine's more like a distant helicopter, it has to be the spokes, just wanted some confirmation feedback, thanks.

I wasn't talking about tone, simply the difference in volume between the two (when the electric's not plugged in).

IIRC those four spokes are hollow and fairly fat.

The distant helicopter sound could easily be normal tyre, drivetrain and wheel bearing noise, just amplified.
