Zipp 404 valve Help!?
So I've just purchased my first set of tubular carbon wheels (used) but I can't figure out how to use the valve extender that came with the set, it simpy won't fit into my pump. Can someone shed some knowledge for me I'm growing ever so impatient.

First, loosen the valve core on the tube. Next, wrap the threads that are normally for the valve cap with plumber's tape. Two wraps should ensure a good seal between the extender and the valve. Screw extender on tight, but not so tight you rip the valve out of the the tube. Now test the extender and seal. Attach pump or compressor using a standard presta chuck and give it some air. Do over if necessary. Let some air out by burping the valve with a stiff wire or long pick, install tube and tire on rim, and there you go.
If you're using Vittoria tubulars with removable valve stems, I recommend using Vittorias extended valve stems. While you're changing valve stems is an excellent time to put in a squirt of Stan's sealant.
