Bikes: 2008 Novara Randonee - love it. Previous bikes:Motobecane Mirage, 1972 Moto Grand Jubilee (my fave), Jackson Rake 16, 1983 C'dale ST500.

If you Google "replace headset" Sheldon Brown is the first (possibly best) result, but many, many others. All the info you need is there as far as replacement criteria. All you need is an inexpensive set of calipers.

Favorite headsets is another matter - I'm sure you will get some opinions.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Headsets differ in size, type and bearing configuration. Does your current headset have the manufacture's info and model number on it?
