FSA MegaExo BB spacer question
After 15000 miles of trouble free performance from my exisiting BB ordered a new one to replace it. After removing the old one realized it had no spacers. The new one also did not come with spacers. The bottom bracket model is "FSA BB-4000 MegaExo 19 Cartridge Sealed Bottom Bracket English . Replacement is identical and being installed on a road bike.
My question is do all 68 mm bottom brackets require spacers?.
Thanks

68mm is the standard size for road bikes and shouldn't need spacers; some MTB's have a 68mm shell, and require spacer to take them out the the standard 73mm shell when using an external BB
The instructions cover what spacers are needed for the BB shell you have https://www.fullspeedahead.com/storag...0101006_v3.pdf

Just watch out about the crank bolt! See my thread from yesterday.https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...crank-arm-bolt
