clicking on omniums

I had been hearing a noise coming from my omniums for a few months but nothing else. Recently it began getting louder, and more regular. I also began to feel it in my pedal stroke and was able to find some play on the drive side crank arm. Would anyone be able to give me some input on what the culprit may be?

Do you have the right amount of spacers for your BB? as you mention some play, it may well be that your LH arm is bottoming out on the spindle, thus not pulling everything together as it should.
