Bottom bracket

Hi, can anyone tell me the best way to measure what bottom bracket I need? I have an old Claud Butler with cottered crank and want to convert to cotter less.

Thanks

It will be as a Set with what ever cotterless crank you choose.
go through a Bike Shop .. and then you dont have to ship your trial and error back and forth.

as a general rule the British thread BB type of 68 width is the factor to fit your Bike frame.

The crank usually has a spec for BB length. Check www.velobase.com
