Hi,

Even as a kid I found taking stuff apart to be remarkably easy.
Putting it back together is an entirely different ballgame that
needs a far higher level of skill and imagination, and being
able to recognise the impossible, you don't have the jigs.

I looked at a broken kids plastic typwriter once, got the
shells apart and it did almost literally explode into a
pile of parts I couldn't hope to put back together.

rgds, sreten.

I still have that problem, I should really take photos when I take stuff apart.

I've seen BD customer reports that say this is pretty much what they got.

Dejavou. Here's a shot from the 1980s. For extra points can you tell me the bike business supplier that it was published in? Second shot is the backside. Andy

They even took the chain apart. That's a lot of parts. Pretty cool.

I remember this TV game show from 1960 or so, maybe it was People Are Funny.
Twice they gave a box of car parts to a 2 or 3 mechanics team, with 1 week to put it together. I think they did.
They only won a few hundred bucks. $20 got my family a weeks groceries back then.
