Changed the bottom bracket but I don't have a torque wrench

Hi I'm new here. I decided to restore my old mountain bike as a learning by doing project. I bought a Park Tools tool set and the spare parts I thought needed to be replaced. I don't have a torque wrench yet but would like to go on and not wait a couple of weeks before I can afford one.

I replaced the bottom bracket but I'm not sure if it can rotate freely enough now (see video). Does this look too tight (should it rotate more freely) or is it OK?

The seals on these external BBs tend to drag. While its very obvious on the stand, IME it's not noticeable while riding. They also loosen up as you go.

If you used the knurled plastic wheel for the preload adjustment, it's made so you can only get it so tit with your fingers. I bet it's fine.

Thanks. After reading your reply I now realize that I shouldn't have used an Allen key on the opposite side of the knurled plastic wheel to help tighten it. Oh well the whole point was learning and I got what I bargained for
