Time to replace the wheel?
hi guys! i recently purchased a 2nd hand fulcrum wheels... twas mentioned there that there was a dent but i didnt imagine that it was that big to the point that the rear wheels are unusable (base on my opinion)... im a road cyclist and a newbie as well. So, im wondering if you guys can help me out with this ... can those rims be repaired? or should i buy a new rear wheel? thanks!

Do a google image search for "fulcrum wheels" and you will find a plethora of rim and spoke combinations from this brand's offerings...is this internet community supposed to guess at what equipment you have and the issue you are concerned about? How about some pictures of your wheels with some closeups of the area in question?

Welcome to the forum gimo105. We'd be glad to help (or at least offer an opinion) but your request is a bit vague and thus is not likely to result in a good answer. If you provide more detail, you will get better help. Pictures help a lot.
For example: Are the wheels aluminum, carbon, or combo? How does the dent cause a problem (e.g. interfere with brakes)?, Are you sure it's damage and not just a truing issue?

For the record, the OP originally posted in a thread in Commuting and I felt like he'd get a bit more helpful input if I spun it off into its own thread here. FWIW, here's a link to that thread- https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...big-difference.
