Ron Cooper BB
I ride a commuter but just received my first road bike, a Ron Cooper. It's just the frame, front fork and handlebars. What kind of bottom bracket do I need to install?
Can't afford a proper build right now. Can I put one in from a different bike, just to try it out?

CACycling has the normal specs right. But as with all bikes you confirm as you install.
You can try another bike's BB. It will tell you whether the shell is the same threading as the BB you're trying as well, if able to install, as whether the length is right. If the spindle length is not correct this data point might let you deduce the best length. Andy.
