Running 25mm tires on American Classic 420 Aero 3s

Quick question -
I want to run 25mm tires on AC 420s for the wintery pot hole weather, but the rim width seems awfully small. Should I worry about this at all? Or am I good to go?
The 25s fit the rim, but the doesn't mean they necessarily should be run on them. Should I be concerned about cornering, etc.?
Thanks so much, I'm fairly new to all this...

~13mm inside dimension between the hooks is the standard and what the tires were designed to work with and what the large majority of riders still use. Look at 2"+ wide mtb tires on 19mm (13mm inside) wide rims as an extreme example.

Follow the link to the "Width Considerations" chart. If the inside width of your rim is 13, then you are outside the very conservative estimations of Georg Boeger. (I put the reference in to qualify that I have no idea of real world experience. Looigi is most certainly correct - we ride tires half-an-inch wider than our rims. But IMO it will probably look silly like riding baloon tires. I'll let you know when my 25/28's arrive.

Assuming your fork and frame clearances are adequate 25 mm tires should be absolutely no problem on those rims. Cyclocross riders routinely install 700-30 and even larger tires on similar width rims.

I have those wheels and use Michelin 25s without any problems. You should be fine.

Awesome - thanks guys. And for the record, I did check Sheldon's link before posting AND I tried to contact AC about it. I got confused enough to post here. Especially Andy, I appreciate the first hand knowledge.
Thanks all!
