Confused about FD

Hi,

I've got an e-type front derailleur. I don't know if it's a top or bottom pull. The cable comes from the top pointing down. When I want to shift to bigger chainring the derailleur pulls the cable up. What sort do I have?

Thanks

It's where the cable pulls from, so you have a Top Pull.

Derailleur pull direction is like wind direction, and defined by where the cable comes from. A north wind comes from the north, and a top pull comes from the top.
